Customer Management

Overview

The customer management functions are accessible to agents and company administrators (see User Types) and allow adding, editing, and deleting customers.

Creating Customers

Creating customers may be done via the + icon on the Customers Management screen. The platform will prompt you for the new customer’s information:

  • Name (mandatory) - The new customer’s full name.
  • Corporate ID (mandatory) - The new customer’s corporate identifier (VAT ID, Incorporation number, etc).
  • Phone Numbers - A list of phone numbers through which this customer may be reached.
  • Email Addresses - A list of addresses through which this customer may be reached.
  • Origin Addresses - A list of addresses which are commonly used by the customer as origin addresses for its Shipments and Orders. These addresses will be offered by the platform automatically for easy selection when creating new Shipments and Orders.
  • Destination Addresses - A list of addresses which are commonly used by the customer as destination addresses for its Shipments and Orders. These addresses will be offered by the platform automatically for easy selection when creating new Shipment and Orders.
